Make a hand held tool using design methodology.

History

I started this project by looking at tools from history. I decided to explore the whisk. It is something playful yet unexplored within that shape.

Craftsmanship

I wanted to make a modern design inspired by the historical whisks. I searched for craftsmanship and care in my process. A source of inspiration is The Arts & Crafts movement.

The hand

The hand is not only the starting point of my project, it has a central role during the whole process. From making to usage.

The design is based on tradition, executed in a modern way.
